Roxanne Kerr

Roxanne is an experienced and qualified clinical certified trauma specialist with a master’s degree in counselling from Abertay University and a certificate in Trauma from Trauma Institute International. Over the last 6 years, she has successfully worked with trauma survivors including extensive work with Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse and individuals with mental health illnesses such as bipolar and schizophrenia. As well as being university educated, she has extensive training in the trauma field which was delivered by reputable trauma specialists in the USA and the UK. She is also trained in Crisis Management and is member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy and Critical Incident Stress Foundation.


Michael Byrne

Michael is a Co-Founder of Blue Kite International Training and is an expert in lived experience of Trauma and Mental Health. Michael has a distinguished 33 year career in the corporate sector and is also the survivor of multiple catastrophic life events. Michael brings both of these experiences to provide a truly unique perspective to Blue Kite International Training. Michael is regularly in demand to provide Keynote Speeches in Conferences and Events all over the U.K. and beyond regarding Mental Health, Survival, Resilience and was recently a Keynote Speaker at The Scottish Parliament in Holyrood prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Michael is regularly featured in multiple news and media outlets and is also the author of Poems From A Mod: My Journey Through Trauma, Recovery and Survival and ‘Don’t Believe Your Brain!’ which was an instant Amazon Bestseller.
